Terms of use
Last updated: 28 July 2026
Try ProofFlick free for 14 days. If you keep using it, buy a licence for $99.99, once, or $39.99 while the launch offer lasts. The licence is yours, personal, covers 3 devices, and is not a subscription. You bring your own AI provider account, and what their AI suggests is for you to check before you rely on it. Be reasonable, and we will be too.
Who you are dealing with
ProofFlick is published by Capital Films Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 07426603) at 27 Exbury Road, London SE6 4NB. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, which means Lemon Squeezy is the seller on your receipt and handles payment, invoicing and tax.
The trial
You can use the full app free for 14 days from installation, with no account and no card. After the trial ends you need a licence to keep using ProofFlick.
Your licence
A ProofFlick licence costs $99.99 in US dollars, one time, and is currently $39.99 under the launch offer. It is not a subscription and nothing renews. The price shown includes VAT and sales tax where they apply, so the amount on the page is the amount you pay.
The licence covers ProofFlick on Windows. If a macOS version is released later it is a separate product and is not included in this licence. The licence is personal to you and activates on up to 3 devices you yourself use. You can deactivate a device to free its slot and move the licence to another machine. It is not a licence to redistribute, resell, rent out or offer ProofFlick as a service to others, and you may not reverse engineer the app except where the law says we cannot stop you.
Your AI provider
ProofFlick works by connecting to an AI provider with your own API key. Your relationship with that provider is direct: their terms, their prices, their availability. We do not control what they charge or when their services are up, and ProofFlick cannot proofread or dictate while your chosen provider is down or your key is out of credit.
AI output is a suggestion
Corrections and transcriptions come from the AI model you chose, and models make mistakes. ProofFlick always shows you what changed and never replaces text without your action, but what you send, publish or sign off is your responsibility. Read before you hit Replace.
Refunds
The 14-day trial exists so you can find out whether ProofFlick earns its price before paying. If something has gone wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will sort it out with Lemon Squeezy, whose refund process applies.
Warranty and liability
ProofFlick is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, and nothing here reduces your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will appear here with an updated date. Changes will not take away a licence you have already bought.
